FROM: High Command
TO: Arma 3 Users
INFO: Warlords Update, Developer Livestream, Steam Autumn Sale
PRECEDENCE: Flash

SITUATION

Winter is coming, yet the recent cold weather didn't prevent us from applying the final touches to the upcoming Warlords (1.86) Update. It is scheduled for release this Wednesday. We're also hosting a developer livestream, where we will be showcasing the new Warlords multiplayer mode, and giving away some '5 Years of Arma 3' hoodies to viewers!

INTELLIGENCE

The free Warlords Update is just around the corner, and we have some spicy updates to share with you regarding its release. Scheduled for deployment this Wednesday (Edit: the update is postponed until further notice, please see our tweet for more information), the Warlords Update (aka Update 1.86) will feature a new multiplayer game mode, the ADR-97 Weapon Pack, and characters carrying the heads of five legendary Arma developers. More information regarding the upcoming update can be found in our recent OPREP or SITREP. We'll be posting a SPOTREP (aka changelog) on the day of its release.

OPERATIONS

We've added new security improvements to the upcoming Warlords Update that should help prevent cheating. Please note that the game might take longer to load the first time you launch it after you install the latest update.

For the content creators among us, there have been some updates to the Arma 3 Tools on Development Branch to Object Builder and the DsUtils functions. DsUtils now uses new v3 signatures, which improves the addon verification speed. We would love your feedback on this change on our forums.

LOGISTICS

You can currently save up to 66% on Arma 3 and its DLC packs in the Steam Autumn Sale. The sale will end in just in a few hours after we post this SITREP, so be sure to seize the opportunity on time. Fortunately we'll be continuing the sale for a few more hours on the Bohemia Interactive Store.

The Steam Awards Nominations are currently underway and we'd like to thank everyone for including Arma 3 and Bohemia in their nominations. And if you haven't already, there's still time to support your favorite military game!
